Night Guard (for Bruxism or Clenching)

Bruxism is the clenching together of both the upper and lower teeth. Clenching can cause pressure on the muscles, tissues, and other surrounding structures of the jaw, and can cause jaw joint disorders, headaces, neck pain, jaw pain, ear pain, tense muscles, and excessive wear on the teeth.

Collectively, these symptoms are referred to as "TMJ" problems (temperomandibular joint). Bruxism can cause damage to the temperomandibular joint (the hinge that connects the lower jaw to the upper jaw) if not treated. Even though the teeth are made of the hardest material the body can produce, your teeth need to be protected from each other to prevent cracking, wearing, and breaking while you bite and clench.

Customized Bleaching Trays

Custom teeth whitening trays: What advantages do they offer over stock trays? The advantage of custom-made bleaching trays is that they offer a fit that benefits both the whitening process and the patient's experience.

The term "custom teeth whitening trays" refers to bleaching trays that are made by a dentist (or a dental laboratory) specifically for the patient that will wear them. We will take an impression of the patient's teeth and surrounding soft tissue and then use these impressions to create plaster casts. The patient's whitening trays will then be fabricated directly on these casts, thus ensuring an accurate and customized fit.
